Zeugma Mosaic Museum in Gaziantep was reopened to visitors today within the scope of normalization in accordance with coronavirus measures.
Stating that the museum, which stands out with the Gypsy Girl mosaic, opened its doors with the normalization plan, Gaziantep Culture and Tourism Director Bülent Öztürk emphasized that the first visitors have started to arrive and a gradual increase in the number of visitors is expected.
Öztürk said, “Gaziantep is a city that hosted ancient civilizations. Our museum here is one of the largest museums in the world. It becomes the center of attention of visitors with its mosaics of 3 thousand square meters. During our closure, we carried out disinfection procedures within the framework of the disinfection and hygiene rules of the museum. "We have taken all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of this virus among our visitors and staff," he said.
