Havuz zemini veya yemek odası tabanı olduğu tahmin edilen bu mozaikte denizlerin en önemli tanrıları tasvir edilmiştir. En üstte Hippocam adı verilen ön tarafı at, arkası balık olan yaratığın üzerinde Posseidon görülmektedir. Posseidon’un elinde üç dişli dirgen bulunuyor. Mozaiğin alt kısmında ise yine bir diğer deniz tanrısı Oceanos ve , denizlerde dişiliği sembolize eden Tethys resmedilmiştir. Mozaiğin diğer alanları çeşitli deniz yaratıkları ile süslenmiştir.

The most important gods of the seas are depicted in this mosaic, which is thought to be the pool floor or dining room floor. At the top, Posseidon can be seen on the creature called Hippocam, which has a horse on the front and a fish on the back.
